This is a mixed media piece. I tore a page out of my John Folse cook book I decopodged it to my canvas then painted the crawfish. I'm almost finshed with a second one that has oysters. They will be hanging in a local rest. in Madisonville called muffalettas soon I hope.

Did you know light bulbs make great Christmas ornaments? I've been painting them for my etsy shop they seem to be a hit. Several years ago I sold quit a few of them in a little art gallery. They are tedious to paint and easy to get tired of. I'm gonna hang in there and paint at least a dozen tomorrow. Wish me luck!

My daughter Jessie, painted these cute little plaques. She has been painting since she was a little bitty girl. I would get my paints out and then set her up on her playschool table with paint made from ivory liquid and food coloring.She is twenty two now. Time has just flown by.
